Designed for the complete beginner, this workshop explores the construction of an A4 size Japanese soft cover book. Using single cut sheets of paper and decorative exposed stitching, this binding style has unlimited creative potential.

RELIEF PRINTMAKING - (Linocut)
 

This workshop explores the simple yet powerfully expressive potential of relief printmaking. Topics covered include techniques of linocut design, transferring a drawing to the lino plate, cutting techniques, proofing and finally printing a small print edition. All techniques are aimed at enabling participants to be able to produce prints independently at home without expensive equipment or press.
